Another Euregio

In a curious coincidence with one of the articles I've recently read on the Euregio magazine, I've just spent a couple of days between Cologne and Aachen, in the Rhein-Meuse region, and observed a lot of signs telling that the word euroregion - or "euregio", as I've seen it written - is indeed part of the everyday language there.
