Epidemik, the contagious Expo

A collaborative multiplayer simulation game, played by walking around the playground and trying to survive an epidemic - one out of five scenarios, I happened to play the Nice 2015 (Chikungunya fever, caused by tiger mosquito bites).

fico

yep - it provides a good mixture of engagement, information and an adequate amount of activity - a good example of "game with an agenda"

I could simply die.. I hate those games (NB: i did not want to tell you, but I couldn't resist:))

just that kind of games, with yourself as the interface, or simulation games in general? I think they can provide, if well executed, a good learning opportunity - although some might argue, sensibly enough, that a well written scientific article would provide a faster and more accurate learning tool. But motivation is a key learning factor, and reading requires (consumes...) a lot of it - while a game might provide some!
