I have already written about the theft of contents by a local newspaper, copying posts from some news blogs (which are, by the way, registered journals of their own). To tell the truth, the source is mentioned but, due to the copyright notice, it is not enough.

What measures have been taken by the newsbloggers to defend themselves? Bora.la is directly confronting the newspaper, while Gorizia Oggi is trying to take advantage of the situation by operating some self-promotion (since banners are sucked up as well as contents).

Each way, the result is hilarious: publishing bad press about themselves, or giving free exposure to someone else’s advertising…
