The first numbers and estimates are beginning to flow in – clearly, I cannot tell anything (and will make absolutely no half-hidden attempt to convey their content through these comments 🙂

An interesting tidbit is a piece of the whole story, showing how complex the job is. In the first results sheet, a couple of strange results emerged in a specific segment (women, aged 64+): we all plunged in a discussion about the possible political meaning of this strange concentration – then we realized that it might simply be one of the under-represented segments in the online sample (sounds reasonable, after all…) and a few eccentric votes could modify the estimate in a dramatic way.
