The vBusiness Expo is a large scale event about business in virtual worlds, and as far as I know it is the first to be actually held in a virtual world. Starting on April 24th, it will cover four key areas: education, marketing, eCommerce and the virtual workplace. Registration is free.

My belief is that education and, strictly related, the virtual workplace are the subjects where – maybe not too soon – the plateau of productivity for 3D online environments will be reached.

No italian initiatives will be presented, but some the unAcademy and SecondLearning initiatives are excellent examples of what can be beneficial to business, in terms of enabling events and providing new learning platforms.
