I am an enthusiast user of open-source alternatives (i.e. OpenOffice.org) to personal productivity software such as Microsoft's Office suite – but, as of lately, my behavior is changing and I'm increasingly often using online services such as Google Docs for my documents.

At the same time, I recently discovered Aviary, providing the same kind of alternative to both commercial creativity suites and their open-source counterparts (I love GIMP!)

Well, perhaps Marc's prediction is too radical, but the tools are indeed impressive.
