While putting together a draft for my contribution to MIB’s panel discussion at Innovaction this Saturday, I kept getting back to one basic idea: the fact that, thanks to the web, a larger number of individuals nowadays have a public image to take care of. This is true for individuals and communities as well, and I like to think of last week’s successful State of the Net conference as a starting point for the community revolving around the italian blogosphere (bloggers, commenters, readers…), finding a way to look at itself and project its image on a society which is in dire need of positive models.
