Some time ago, while taking part in a brainstorming for an event about innovation, I wondered about how the traditional museum/exhibition guestbook could be transformed into something that would be more likely to stimulate mindful, creative, interesting or plainly funny contributions by participants. It would also be nice to have a way to make the entries more usable by those who come after.

Perhaps a text input device connected to a dedicated twitter account, showing the entries on a LED text scroller or projecting them on a wall, would complete the transformation of the boring old pen-and-paper guestbook into an engaging thing to do.
